Retford Judo Club will be moving to a new venue, the first session on 18 April 2012 and 11 April the last session at the TA Centre on Hallcroft Road.  The new location will be St Saviours Parish Centre on Lidge Lane, Retford, DN22 6QW.  St Saviours is a much bigger space for us and hopefully may give us the opportunity to have extra sessions and host squad training.

Looking back at old documents we moved into the TA Centre from Clark’s Dye Works in 1963, 49 years.  In that time numbers of players have varied, from many to a few and back again, at one time getting so low we thought we would have to close the club.  

This will be a sad time for a few of the older players who did their training there as children.  Lots of memories of players present and past.
